Ebony-May is a Registered Manager at Meadowvale Homecare who's office is based on Redcar High Street in the heart of our local community. At Meadowvale Homecare we work by the mantra ‘Your care, your choices’ and this is fundamentally important to all of our staff. We are not just here to work, we are here to care and to achieve this with the highest of standards. We have been delivering bespoke care to clients in and around Redcar and Cleveland and Middlesbrough for nearly 10 years.

Why did you decide to become a Community Champion?

I'm passionate about being the voice of our clients and staff when they need me to be.

By becoming a community champion I hope to be a part of the drive for improvement, wellbeing of local people and the overall success of our communities.

How does your role help people in South Tees?

Over the years I have created strong links within our local communities, from the rural areas of North Yorkshire and East Cleveland right through to the more populated areas of Redcar and Middlesbrough. This helps me reach and bridge a gap, with people in the places that are sometimes forgotten and with the nature of our work - the voices that are not always heard.
